PALM BEACH, FLORIDA — November 4, 2026 — The Romanian Republicans GOP Club is pleased to announce the Romanian Heritage & Excellence Awards Gala, a special celebratory evening planned for November 4, 2026, at The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.

Organized by the Romanian Republicans GOP Club, the Gala is envisioned as a distinguished gathering dedicated to recognizing the accomplishments and contributions of Romanian-Americans who have demonstrated excellence in their professions, leadership in their communities, and a meaningful commitment to preserving and promoting Romanian heritage in the United States.

The evening will bring together Romanian-American community leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, cultural figures, civic representatives, special guests, and friends of Romania for a celebration of achievement and identity.

At the heart of the event will be the presentation of the Romanian Heritage & Excellence Awards, honoring distinguished Romanian-Americans whose accomplishments and service exemplify the strength, talent, and diversity of the Romanian-American experience.

Celebrating Romanian-American Achievement

For generations, Romanian immigrants and their descendants have contributed to the economic, scientific, cultural, professional, and civic life of the United States. The Romanian Heritage & Excellence Awards Gala seeks to bring greater visibility to these accomplishments while recognizing individuals whose work has made an impact within their professions and communities.

The Gala will also celebrate the cultural heritage that connects Romanian-Americans across generations—from those who arrived in the United States more recently to families whose American story now extends across several generations.

The Romanian Republicans GOP Club believes that professional achievement and civic participation can coexist with a strong appreciation for one's cultural roots. The Gala is intended to provide a setting in which those dimensions of the Romanian-American experience can be recognized together.

Honoring Excellence. Celebrating Heritage. Inspiring Generations.

Beyond recognizing established leaders, the Romanian Heritage & Excellence Awards* are intended to highlight examples of accomplishment and service that can inspire younger generations of Romanian-Americans.

The evening will therefore celebrate not only individual success, but also the importance of mentorship, community involvement, philanthropy, cultural continuity, and the transmission of Romanian heritage to future generations.

Award recipients and additional distinguished guests will be announced as the event approaches.

A Special Evening at Mar-a-Lago

The planned setting for the inaugural Gala is The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, a National Historic Landmark and private club that hosts formal galas and special events.

The Romanian Heritage & Excellence Awards Gala is intended to become a signature Romanian-American recognition event—bringing together accomplishment, heritage, community, and the enduring relationship between Romanians and Americans.

The Romanian Republicans GOP Club has previously organized Romanian-American gatherings at Mar-a-Lago, including its December 2025 celebration of Romania's National Day.

United States — On the historic occasion of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, the Romanian Republicans GOP Club proudly joins Americans across the nation in celebrating two and a half centuries of independence, liberty, courage, and opportunity.

Happy 250th Birthday, America!

For Romanian Americans, this anniversary carries a particularly meaningful message. America has been a land where generations of immigrants have had the opportunity to build new lives, raise their families, pursue their dreams, practice their faith, start businesses, and become active members of their communities.

Many Romanians came to the United States carrying with them a profound appreciation for freedom. Today, Romanian Americans are proud to contribute to the country they call home while preserving the traditions, culture, faith, and heritage passed down through generations.

As America celebrates 250 years since the Declaration of Independence, we remember the enduring words and principles that helped shape this extraordinary nation: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

These ideals have inspired people far beyond America's borders. They have given hope to generations who experienced dictatorship, communism, political oppression, and the denial of fundamental freedoms.

For many Romanian Americans, the American story therefore has a deeply personal meaning.

The Romanian Republicans GOP Club honors the generations of Americans who built, defended, served, and strengthened this country. We recognize the members of the United States Armed Forces, veterans, first responders, public servants, entrepreneurs, workers, families, and communities whose contributions have carried the American experiment forward for 250 years.

We also celebrate the enduring friendship between the United States and Romania and the important role of the Romanian-American community in strengthening the bonds between our two nations.

The Romanian Republicans GOP Club is honored to accept the invitation extended by the Republican Party of Palm Beach County to attend its annual Lincoln Day Gala, taking place on March 20, 2026, at The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.

We are grateful for the opportunity to join fellow Republicans and community leaders for this special occasion and to represent the Romanian-American conservative community at this distinguished gathering.

Given the inaccurate information circulated in the media, the Romanian Republicans GOP Club issues the following clarifications.

The celebration of Romania’s National Day is an event organized by the Romanian Republicans GOP Club Inc, an organization affiliated with the Republican Party of the United States.

All expenses related to the event were fully covered by the Romanian Republicans GOP Club Inc. Attendance is free of charge and strictly by invitation.

The event is taking place at Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump’s residence, known as the “Winter White House”, at the initiative of the organizers, and will bring together dozens of members of the Romanian community from across America, as well as special guests from the hosts’ side.
